Börsenstraße 2 – 4

Geschäftshaus an der Börsenstraße

The monumental Geschäftshaus an der Börsenstraße was built in the early 20th century in the Neoclassical style, with a shopping arcade and broad projections highlighted by columns. The original gabled roof was destroyed during the war and replaced with a flat roof. After the building was purchased by Advanta Management AG in the early 1990s, and following close consultation with the monument preservation authorities, a two-story glass mansard roof was added in keeping with the roof’s original form. Today the Börsenstraße 2 – 4 building is home to premium retail shops and offices. Prior to the founding of HP Developments, members of its current staff were responsible for the project’s development and management.
